Pest Control & Exterminator Services in Auburn, MA

Serving Worcester County since 1984

The Auburn area was settled in 1714. The town was officially incorporated on April 10, 1778, as the town of Ward, in honor of Artemas Ward, an American Revolution General. The name was changed to Auburn in 1837, after the Post Office complained the name was too similar to Ware, a nearby town.

The world’s first liquid-fueled rocket was launched on March 16, 1926 from Pakachoag Hill in Auburn, by Robert Goddard, on his Aunt Effe Ward’s farm. Goddard Memorial Park, located downtown next to the Auburn Fire Department Headquarters, commemorates this event. In addition, on the actual site where Goddard launched his rocket, there is a small memorial.

Colonial Pest Control has professional Auburn, MA exterminators that understand the local pest problems. Our Massachusetts exterminators live in the areas they serve, so our team is nearby and ready to help.

Common pests in Auburn, MA, include mosquitoes, termites, and mice.

Mosquito Control: Any place where you have still water should be removed immediately because that is where they will lay their eggs and grow the population. Mosquitoes are considered the number one killer of humans in the world because of the diseases they can carry. While we’re fortunate enough in America to generally not worry about serious diseases like Malaria and West Nile virus, mosquitoes are still bad news for your family.

Termite extermination: Termites may not be nearly as obvious as the other pest problems in Concord but they can cause equal if not more damage than any other pest in the area. Once you notice a termite infestation, it may be too late, and you might have to completely replace the wood that they have begun eating. If you catch the problem early on, an exterminator can help you get rid of them before they cause massive damage.

Mice: Mice can survive the hot, humid summers and cold winters, which means the population just continues to expand. They like to live in your attic, basement, food storage area, and in wood piles in your yard. While they can cause quite a bit of physical damage to your home, their feces can contaminate your food, water, and even the air you breathe, which makes them a health hazard to your family.

If you have pest problems, a professional pest control expert will be required to properly and safely remove them. Call us at 1-800-525-8084 right now, for a free quote, or fill out the form on this page.
