Pest Control & Exterminator Services in Dracut, MA

Serving Middlesex County since 1984

Here’s an interesting tidbit about Dracut – it’s the only town in the world with that name. So where did the name come from? It was named after Captain John Evered, aka Webb of Draucutt of Norfolk County, who purchased the land from the daughter of Passaconaway, chief of the Pennacook tribe. In that transaction, Dracut cost four yards of wool and a pound of tobacco.

Dracut is in northernmost Massachusetts, on the New Hampshire border, run through by the Merrimack River and Beaver Brook. It’s home to the Colburn/Cutter House, which dates back to 1717, and serves as the host site for the annual Dracut Craft Fair.

Dracut’s got a unique name, but one thing that’s not unique is its pest problem. Dracut has to deal with its fair share of pests, like:

Yellow Jackets
If you’ve crossed paths with a yellow jacket or two, you’re no doubt familiar with how unpleasant they can be. Dealing with a few yellow jackets is one thing, but if you find yourself up against a swarm of them – especially in wall voids or attic rafters – it’s time to call in the experts with the right equipment to deal with the problem.

Carpenter Ants
They may not eat the wood in your home the way termites do, but carpenter ants can cause considerable damage and structural instability if they’re left unchecked. Do not mess around if you discover these little buggers burrowing away inside your walls. The sooner you call in the experts, the greater the likelihood you can save your home from extensive destruction.
