During COVID-19 shutdowns, most of the state governments, including Massachusetts and New Hampshire, have deemed that exterminators and pest control services are “essential businesses” that are allowed to continue to function. Colonial Pest Control’s COVID-19 Response statement outlines our commitment to you and changes that are being made in how we will operate during this time. Like everyone else, our employees will practice social distancing, hand washing, and use of protective equipment when necessary.
OUR SEMI-ANNUAL EXTERIOR TREATMENTS ARE ALL YOU NEED
In response to coronavirus precautions, most pest control companies in the nation are reducing or eliminating interior treatments and emphasizing exterior treatment. At Colonial, our exterior treatment plan has been the backbone of our residential service for many years. We understand that the pests that end up inside your home came from outside originally. We’ve found that eliminating or blocking those pests around your home’s foundation before they can get inside is the safest and best approach. Customers who are already members of our Preventative Maintenance Program appreciate the convenience of twice annual exterior treatments around their home’s perimeter.
Our customers don’t have to meet or greet the technician; they don’t even have to be home. Our technicians will take care of it all from outside your home; there need be no “front door” interactions either. The technician will contact you remotely, in the manner you request, prior to arrival and will email paperwork after the job is completed.
Routine interior treatments are not a part of our exterior Preventative Maintenance Program but we will make safe accommodations if our plan customers have an inside problem that can’t be resolved with our exterior treatment.
