German cockroaches have extremely high reproductive rates with females producing 5 generations per year on average and up to 200 offspring! In buildings, they prefer warm areas with high humidity and therefore are found mostly in kitchens and bathrooms. Newer treatment methods rely mostly on baits. A properly performed application using baits will usually provide total elimination with only one treatment (depends on level of infestation).
