Pest Control, Exterminator & Wildlife Removal in Bedford, MA
Serving Middlesex County since 1984
Bedford is a town 15 miles north and west of Boston with a population of nearly 13,000. Bedford is renowned for the Bedford flag, the oldest intact battle flag in the United States and the first U.S. flag flown during the American Revolution. The motto on the flag is “Vince Aut Morire,” which means “Conquer or Die.”
Bedford is known for its many historic sites, including The Two Brothers Rocks, the Job Lane House, the Fitch Tavern, and the John Wilson Corne Mill. It’s also known for the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, a 12-mile stretch of wetlands that serves as a sanctuary for wildlife and migratory birds. It’s a lush and beautiful area, but as we all know, wetlands are an attractive breeding ground for all sorts of pests, including bats and rodents.
These are two of the most dangerous pests around since they all have the potential for carrying disease – bats can carry rabies, and rodents can carry ticks that spread Lyme disease. Rodents can also chew through most things they can get their teeth around, leading to all sorts of property damage headaches.
Colonial Pest Control is your best bet if you live in Bedford and you’re dealing with any of these pests. For the rodents, we’ll create seals on all of the entry points of your house and arrange one-way escape routes so that the rodents will leave and not return. We do the same thing for bats. They’re a vital part of the ecosystem and we make sure to treat them humanely.
If you’ve got a bat or rodent infestation, don’t hesitate! Call Colonial Pest at 1-800-525-8084and we’ll handle the problem safely and without harm.
